SECOND JOINT PSOJ/SECURITY FORCES "PHONE-IN" SESSION

The second joint PSOJ and the Security Forces "Let's take Jamaica Back - Phone-in" session will take place at the PSOJ Office on Thursday, 11th July between 7.00 - 9.00 p.m. This is one of a number of programmes to encourage the public to give more information to the security forces.

Following on the success of the first "Phone-In" on June 13, during which over thirty calls were received, the telephone lines this Thursday will again be manned by Commissioner of Police Francis Forbes on 927-6930. He will be joined by Deputy Commissioner Tilford Johnson at 978-6404, Reverend Herro Blair on Tel: 927-6931, Dr. Carolyn Gomes, Head of Jamaicans for Justice on Tel: 927-7865, and Mr. Clarence Clarke, Jamaica Manufacturers Association on
927-6409.

PSOJ President, Oliver Clarke notes, "This programme is designed for the public to share their concerns with the security forces and representatives of various sectors, who are prepared to address the issues raised".

The PSOJ encourages the public to participate: "Tell us your concerns! Ask questions and give us your suggestions!"
