Mr. Nicholas Shorthose, Chairman, retired from this
position in October 2002, as he was transferred to Barbados.
Mr. Mario Vulinovich, new General Manager of Shell Company,
was appointed Chairman of the Energy Committee in December
2002. The Committee will continue to focus on industry

Members
of the Energy Committee representing Shell, IGL, ESSO
and UNIPET met with the Minister of Commerce and Technology
in late November outlining some of the particular areas
of concern and support required, in particular the safety
issues related to illegal filling stations. They have
been assured of the Government's support.

and chaired by Steven McKay (IGL).
The
focus for 2003 will continue with Safety, Standards
and Enforcement, and in particular Safety initiatives
- rewarding safety Standards development in LPG and
Retail Service Station operation, streamlining consent
