Mr. Richard Chen, Vice President, PSOJ -

Richard Chen was born in Port Antonio, the eighth of Vincent George and Hyacinth Gloria Chen’s nine children. He received his BSc from the University of the West Indies in 1987.

During 1987 – 1989, he worked as a System Administrator at AIC Investment Planning. He then worked as Store Manager at J&D Supermarket for three years and is presently Director of Super Plus Food Stores (1992 – 2007).

He is a member of CVSS United Way, a Charter Member of the May Pen Rotary Club (1991) and was elected Vice President of the PSOJ in December 2006. He has been a member of the PSOJ Economic Policy Committee for a number of years and has been Co-Chair of its Job Creation sub-Committee since 2002.
